BE PART OF THE CONNECTION

You design, develop and implement innovative applications and platform solutions. You lead improvements for security, service delivery, data center, service desk management, OSS and BSS. You develop system enhancements using an established corporate operational playbook and guide the adoption of approved data center architecture, design and security solutions. You collaborate with teams in person and digitally within an office environment.

WHAT OUR SYSTEMS ENGINEERS ENJOY MOST
  • Provide network security, high availability, fault tolerance and scalability for mission-critical business systems.
  • Design, deploy and maintain application and platform ecosystem and related back-office infrastructures.
  • Become a trusted partner of the engineering team through the delivery of excellent client service and mentoring.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve major APO and system issues.
  • Test and validate new hardware and connections.


WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO SPECTRUM ENTERPRISE

Required Qualifications
  • Experience: Six or more years of experience as a system or server administrator.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Technical Skills: Expert in ticketing and software tools to support current operations; Knowledge of Raw Iron, SteelCloud, Elastic Cloud, OpenStack and AWS; Familiar with Linux, Unix, Oracle, Splunk, OSI stack and application architectures and applications; Knowledgeable of the OSI Model and TCP/IP.
  • Skills: Leadership and English communication skills.
  • Abilities: Ability to learn new technologies and work in a fast-paced team environment.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of Spectrum Enterprise products, services and culture.
  • Linux, Oracle or Splunk Unix certification
  • CCNA or CCNP.
