As an IT systems engineer lead on the Infrastructure Automation team, you’ll design and build process automation solutions. As a lead engineering resource on a Scrum team, you'll support and deliver automation solutions across IT. You’ll craft and develop automation programs using tools such as BMC Orchestrator and Ansible, and help the organization adopt and mature an Automation First Culture. You'll work closely with process owners to understand the process, map it to an automation workflow, and code the solution. This role requires participation in an on-call rotation to ensure the continuous availability of our solutions.

This is a remote position for US-based work only.

Must-have qualifications

  • Associate's Degree or higher in an Information Technology discipline, Math or other related field of study and a minimum of six years working with operating system hardware and/or software components in a large IT environment with many categories of devices, infrastructures and operating systems
  • In lieu of a degree, a minimum of eight years related experience working with operating system hardware and/or software components in a large IT environment with many categories of devices, infrastructures and operating systems may be accepted

Preferred skills

  • Knowledge of Windows Servers, Linux Servers, security concepts, and operational infrastructure components from a development perspective
  • Experience with Splunk and server provisioning processes
  • Proficiency in coding and calling APIs for automation with infrastructure components using standard API or web methods
  • Familiarity with Service Management technologies and Digital Workplace (DWP)
  • Understanding of XML and XPATH, as well as experience with Alteryx, Snowflake, SQL, and Tableau for reporting and analysis

Compensation

  • $125,280 - $139,200/year depending on position level
  • Gainshare bonus up 40% of your eligible earnings based on company performance
