The Systems Management Analyst functions include those who monitor and operate computer and peripheral equipment: review, analyze, and modify programming systems including encoding, testing, debugging and installing for large-scale computer systems. In addition, the analyst will evaluate system specifications, input/output processes, and working parameters for hardware/software compatibility along with providing expertise in software systems programming, operating software applications, consulting on complex projects/existing applications, timely completion of scheduled jobs, and overall operating systems. Additional job duties include overseeing environments' health and facilitation of high severity incidents to improve the state of service availability and continuity, developing processes and activities that focus on restoring service after an incident occurs and documenting all hardware, application, facility, etc. problems and take corrective action as required.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Analyze & document process requirements to support system implementation & business client needs
  • Perform gap analysis of requirements relative to system design & capability to establish system configuration strategy
  • Work with business teams to analyze business processes and requirements and define technical solutions to satisfy requirements
  • Develop business process diagrams and other system design documents
  • Analyze, design and prepare application/system specifications for information systems solutions which address business needs and methods for testing and installation &/or migrate configuration to other system instances
  • Create letters in the Document Composition module of OnBase
  • Perform required system configuration to satisfy business requirements
  • Collaborate with developers and business owners during testing and implementation process
  • Coordinates activities with other IT teams (e.g., data base, telecommunications, operations, technical support, etc.)
  • Acts as expert technical resource to development staff in all phases of the system development lifecycle

Required Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience with OnBase workflow logic including OnBase Dashboard Reporting experience or experience with similar other reporting tool
  • 2+ years of experience performing gap analysis

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering or related field
  • Hyland certifications:
    • OnBase Certified System Administrator (OCSA)
    • OnBase Certified Advanced System Administrator (OCASA)
    • OnBase Certified Workflow Administrator (OCWA)
  • 2+ years of experience in MS-SQL Server and T-SQL
  • 2+ years of experience with Healthcare Management Systems
  • 1+ years of experience with Enterprise Content Management solutions

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
