This position will work a hybrid schedule which includes a combination of working both onsite on Greenwich Dr. and remote.

DESCRIPTION

The Talent Acquisition Coordinator provides administrative support for the Health Talent Acquisition team around the end-to-end recruiting and onboarding processes. The role is responsible for ensuring all transactional recruiting and new hire processes are completed accurately, effectively, efficiently, and in a timely manner. The Talent Acquisition Coordinator is an individual who has the ability to get down in the details while also seeing the big picture. This individual is team-oriented with excellent communication skills and takes pride on providing extraordinary customer service for both hiring managers, candidates and new hires.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Validation of pre-employment documentation.
  • Assist with the coordination and management of the compliance and correspondence of 100+ new employees per week.
  • Manage the reference check process with external and internal candidates.
  • Maintain Applicant Tracking System (ATS) data integrity and compliance by managing day to day data input requirements into the ATS as well as conducting audits as required and making appropriate corrections.
  • Coordinate candidate post-offer process and partner effectively with HR Operations.
  • In a professional manner, respond to internal or external recruiting related inquiries such as application inquiries, recruiting processes, etc.
  • Perform recruiting related projects, research, and deliverables as needed to support Talent Acquisition team.
  • Serve as a resource to departments on various recruitment issues. Interpret information requests in order to determine the most appropriate method of responding.
  • Identify and collaborate on talent acquisition and hiring process improvement initiatives.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Six years of related experience, education/training, OR a Bachelor's degree in related area plus two years of related experience/training.
  • Recent experience working in talent acquisition and/or human resources.
  • Thorough knowledge of federal and state laws related to processing new employees.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Demonstrated ability to interact and engage with a diverse group of people.
  • Proven critical thinking and problem solving skills.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience working within a human resources department within the University of California system.
  • Experience onboarding new employees.
  • Experience using a case management system (i.e. ServiceNow, or similar).
  • Experience using PeopleSoft.
  • Two years of healthcare HR experience.
  • Proven ability to recommend and implement process improvements.

Pay Transparency Act

Annual Full Pay Range: $61,800 - $108,000 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%)

Hourly Equivalent: $29.60 - $51.72

Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for a role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The Hiring Pay Scale referenced in the job posting is the budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position. The Annual Full Pay Range may be broader than what the University anticipates to pay for this position, based on internal equity, budget, and collective bargaining agreements (when applicable).
