Position Information:
The Team Leader Patient Scheduling Rep will enjoy interacting with patients and healthcare provider offices on the phone and through messages to schedule patient appointments. The Team Leader Patient Scheduling Rep will accurately perform administrative duties required for scheduling patient appointments including managing inbound and outbound communication selecting correct appointments and entering demographic and insurance information. The Team Leader Patient Scheduling Rep will also manage scheduling/referral work queues serve as a mentor for scheduling representative peers and assist with training new employees. As a liaison to patients the community and healthcare professionals this position requires excellent interpersonal and communication skills to ensure delivery of the highest quality customer service. The Team Leader Patient Scheduling Rep provides unsurpassed service for WakeMed patients scheduling outpatient services and physician practice appointments. The Team Leader Patient Scheduling Rep works in a call center handling in-bound and outbound communication coordinating with clinical staff in the physician practices/outpatient services and completing task-based functions. The Team Leader Patient Scheduling Rep works in a high-volume fast-paced metrics-driven environment.
