Responsibilities

SUMMARY: Responsible for the distribution of supplies, medication, mail, packages, equipment within clinic medical offices as directed. Additionally may be called upon transport patients as needed. Tasks are to be completed in a timely manner while meeting the needs of the customer within the requirements of Riverside Medical Clinic. Must have excellent communication and organizational skills.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High School diploma or general education degree (GED) required. Minimum of one-year job related supply distribution and transportation experience or equivalent is required.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, AND REGISTRATIONS: Valid California Driver's License in good standing.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Receive, unpack, inspect items for damage, defects and verify accuracy of shipments. Report discrepancies or damage in items received.
2. Participate in periodic inventories as assigned
3. Fill requisitions as required or assigned.
4. Deliver requested items and verifies deliveries.
5. Maintain storeroom.
6. Will be required to travel or report to other facilities as assigned by management.
7. Responsible for stocking shelves in central supply locations which includes rotating stock, straightening stock, and checking expiration dates.
8. Maintain your assigned vehicle, if assigned, clean at all times.
9. Check all items on vehicle for safety, such as seat belts, lights, wipers, oil level, and tire pressure. Notify supervisor immediately if attention is needed.
10. Account for all fuel tickets.
11. If cell phone is assigned, it must be turned on and in your possession at all time. The cell phone must always be answered in a timely manner.
12. Asset tag equipment when received as required.

OTHER RESPONSBILITIES:
1. Oversee and check stock par levels in clinic offices and scan office needs into electronic purchasing system.
2. Oversee and place purchase requisitions utilizing the electronic purchasing system for stock replenishment in a time frame designed to prevent stock outs and minimize inventory levels.
3. Assure that departmental billing information is entered correctly into the electronic purchasing system.
4. Annually participate and complete required health screening.
5. Adhere to Safety Program as outlined in Core Competencies and Injury, Illness and Prevention Program.
6. Maintains professional composure and confidence during stressful situations.
7. Maintains open communication using appropriate chain of command regarding issues.
8. Presents neat appearance in proper attire and identification as required by the position, department and RMC policy.
9. Continuously displays a positive, "can do" attitude within the department and across departmental lines to contribute to the overall customer service program in place at Riverside Medical Clinic.
