Our mission is to help TikTok customers to build & expand social networks and enhance TikTok product experience through social stickiness.
In order to meet the social network feature requirements continuously, you will focus on improving the quality and stability of social features in TikTok, including building smooth workflow, different types of testing methods, privacy testing framework and testing tools. As a leader, you will need to use technical lead-by-example to coach and influence team to reach the business goal. You will have the opportunity to collaborate and manage an offshore team. You will face challenges with a global multi-datacenter based test environment, and you will face global cooperation.

Responsibilities:
- Own the entire system testing process, including but not limited to: analysis, design, test plan, monitor, user feedback and conducting defect tracking
- Be able to cultivate a deep understanding of business and technical roadmap, and set clear quality standards in collaboration with other Engineering Managers and corresponding business leaders
- Recommend process, testing methodology, and improve testing tools and framework
- Provide technical guidance to team members and enhance technical capabilities
- Introduce new techniques and methods to improve team productivity.
- Define a long-term technical roadmap for the team.
- Contribute to technical decisions on projects within the product.
- Work closely with cross-function teams in the early stage of product development lifecycle, to define test strategy, test plans and test coverage
- Help solve engineering problems and contribute to creative solutions

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in mobile application testing and/or service development/testing.
- 2+ years of experience managing or leading a test team. Experience managing people through offshore teams or projects
- Experience coding with Python/Golang/Java/Objective-C
- Ability to deal with multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with service automation, performance testing tools, or test platform development.
- Knowledge of MySQL, GraphDb like Amazon Neptune, Redis, Kafka, Docker, K8s, Hive, and Spark.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with global teams.
- Willing to learn and passionate about helping team members grow
