Technical Delivery Manager

Insight Global is looking for a Technical Delivery Manager to sit in the Seattle, WA area and join one of our largest retail clients. This person will be joining the Platform Engineering team which owns two major platforms, Datadog/Splunk and Gitlab. This person will be responsible for unlocking capabilities within these platforms, optimizing support and onboarding, and conducting current and future state assessment. Additionally, this person will come from an engineering background having strong knowledge of technical terminology around programming languages, containerization, SLDC, and CI/CD best practices. Additionally, this person will be responsible for the decomposition of assets. This involves looking at all applications, breaking down the tech stack, examining code, and defining a taxonomy. 80% of this role will consist of planning, organization, communications, and documentation for technical deliverables, and 20% will consist of meetings for alignment.

Required Skills & Experience

4+ years as a Technical Delivery Manager
Experience leading the delivery and optimization of an enterprise technology platform/product
Previous experience working as an Engineer
Strong understanding of containerization, kubernetes, and docker
Ability to communicate with technical team members and translate business needs

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Retail Technology Experience (TMO, Nordstrom, REI, Nike)
Experience with ServiceNow, CMDB or CDSM
