Insight Global is seeking a Technical Design Engineer to join an Industrial technology company located in Bloomfield, CT. The ideal candidates will demonstrate experience in design, quality, safety, compliance, and new product implementation. This individual will be responsible for creating and maintaining technical documentation for all design work. As well as arranging design reviews, coordinating, and analyzing concepts, and cost effectiveness of the Mechanical/Electrical Designs.

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelor's degree in mechanical /electrical engineering.

Experience with product development of industrial and/or electrical products.

Experience with design software (Creo Preferred), PLM (Windchill preferred, Magnetic simulation and Thermal Simulation

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Clear communication, strong collaborative skills across functions and within global teams

Experience in Low Voltage Switchboards or similar.
