Position Description:

The Originations Integrations Product Manager will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end integration of our new modernized platform with existing systems and processes. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong technical background and exceptional project management skills. The ideal candidate will have experience in platform integration, a deep understanding of the vehicle loan origination process for a captive finance company, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead Integration efforts: Drive the integration of the new platform with existing systems, ensuring seamless data flow and functionality across all origination processes including credit decisions, pricing, and contract funding.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with internal and external stakeholders, including engineering, future platform vendors, and business units, to understand integration requirements and ensure business objective alignment.
• Project Management: Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets for integration efforts. Track progress and ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope.
• Requirements Gathering: Gather and document integration requirements from various stakeholders, ensuring all technical and business needs are met.
• Solution Design: Collaborate with technical teams to design integration solutions that are scalable, reliable, and maintainable. Ensure solutions are aligned with overall architectural guidelines and best practices.
• Testing and Validation: Oversee the testing and validation of integration solutions, ensuring all functionalities work as intended and meet quality standards.
• Risk Management: Identify potential risks and issues and proactively develop mitigation strategies to address them.
• Continuous Improvement: Proactively seek opportunities to enhance the integration process and improve overall efficiency.

Skills Required:

• Ability to assess product changes holistically and understand the potential impact outside of the immediate product/application.
• Ability to influence, persuade, and be comfortable having difficult conversations.
• Strong cross-functional relationship building.
• Comfortable finding solutions to difficult problems.

Skills Preferred:

• A software development background or background as a technical product manager.
• Knowledge of Domain Oriented Microservices and prior experience in Originations.
• Evidence of strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Experience in working in a matrixed team structure and influencing across product areas and multiple functional areas.
• Experience with large-scale enterprise applications.
• Ability to collaborate and navigate sophisticated decision-making in a constantly evolving environment.
• Experience developing software or internet products and technologies to define technical product features.
• Experience in the commercial, consumer, or dealer area from any perspective preferred.
• Strong multi-functional relationship-building and communication skills.
• Demonstrated understanding of approaches to risk identification, assessment, and mitigation.
• Experience working in a regulated environment and an understanding of what it takes to maintain regulatory compliance.

Experience Required:

• 3+ years of Product Management and technology experience.
• Experience in agile methodologies and writing product requirements necessary.

Education Required:

• Bachelor's Degree- STEM or Business-related field preferred.
