Technical Program Manager, Controls

We are seeking Technical Program Manager, Controls. The successful candidate will lead controls improvement programs related to facilities systems for all production areas. The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring reliable hand over of new systems to operations & maintenance and manage continuous improvements programs.


Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Facilities team for turnover of systems. Support O&M with troubleshooting system failures and reporting of events
• Participate and provide feedback in design reviews of capital projects
• Understand Sequence of Operation (SOO) and how system is designed to operate
• Understand control system performance needs and various operations sequences and scenarios
• Develop Integrated System Test (IST) for approval
• Configure and program VFDs
• Provide coaching and mentoring to direct reports (both hourly and supervisory) on facilities hand off procedure and coordinate hand off task along with tracking progress

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience commissioning instruments and devices for large capital projects
• Experience implementing TPM, 5S is a plus
• Confident and able to work on own initiative and with limited supervision
• Flexible and able to adapt to current and new company requirements
• Ability to interact and coordinate with other department and possessing great organizational skills
• Commitment to safety
• Required to work with and around hazardous areas and hazardous chemicals and materials
