Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in program management.
  • Experience in Software Defined Networking or Network Virtualization in a Cloud or On-premises environment.


Preferred qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
  • 5 years of experience in a software focused program/project management and the business technology market in IaaS/SaaS, cloud computing or emerging technologies.
  • Experience in partnering with driver level development teams or development managers to facilitate the design and delivery of networking products.
  • Experience in technical program management outcomes from idea to launching programs in multiple contexts with the focus on automation.
  • Ability to craft a compelling message and tailor it for a given audience and mix technical acumen to deliver a story.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $142,000-$211,000 bonus equity benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Provide the required software development and project management, cross-functional coordination, and inter/intra team communications to deliver outstanding program outcomes.
  • Work closely with software engineers, quality assurance, product managers and other engineering teams to get high-quality products and features through the software project life-cycle (i.e., build, test and release on time).
  • Manage project schedules, identify possible issues and communicate them to project stakeholders.
  • Take responsibility for release schedules and milestones, keeping up a high velocity in a fast-paced environment.
  • Lead several technical programs for the Google Cloud, setting priorities for products and engineering, leading cross-functional teams to take products to market, ensuring success metrics are informing future efforts, and quickly fine-tuning the program as needed.
