Technical Program Manager Responsibilities

• Manage cross-functional infrastructure information technology programs in a matrix organization covering a range of areas.


• Develop and manage end-to-end project plans and ensure on-time delivery of technical hardware and/or software solutions.


• Provide hands-on program management during the analysis, design, development, testing, implementation and post-implementation phases of the projects assigned.


• Perform risk management and change management on projects.


• Provide day-to-day coordination and quality assurance for projects and tasks assigned.


• Drive internal and external process improvements across multiple teams and functions.


• Interface with the Engineering Team and external business owners for project requirements and scope.


• Drive product decisions to align with high company initiatives.


• Plan technical software and system hardware product requirements with internal teams and develop the project execution plan.


• Write code and develop software tools, applications, and/or systems to support the company's large-scale infrastructure, systems and operations.

Minimum Qualifications

• Requires a Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Analytics, Mathematics, Physics, Applied Sciences, or a related field and four years of work experience in the job offered or in a computer-related occupation. Requires four years of experience in the following:


• 1. Managing cross-functional programs covering a range of areas


• 2. Program or product management, and project management tools


• 3. Understanding application requirements and translating needs into roadmap and capacity plans


• 4. Defining and owning metrics and key performance indicators


• 5. Providing hands-on program management during analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and post implementation phases of project


• 6. Managing end-to-end project plans and delivering solutions in a fast-paced environment


• 7. Operating autonomously across multiple teams


• 8. Communicating program plans, status, risks and mitigation strategies to key cross-functional stakeholders


• 9. Organizational, coordination, and multi-tasking experience


• 10. Analyzing, problem-solving, and working with large-scale systems.
