AWS Global Demand and Operations (GDO) AI/ML, Strategy and Analytics team is seeking a Technical Program Manager to drive forward new Data Engineering solutions as well as support broader GDO Strategy. You will develop innovative, robust, and automatic solutions to solve the data challenges in AWS Marketing. You will own and build GDO's next-generation data and ML solutions, partnering closely with data engineers, BIEs, Scientists and SDEs.

Key job responsibilities

You will own and build GDO's next-generation data and ML solutions partnering closely with business stakeholders, data engineers, BIEs, Scientists and SDEs. As part of this role you will drive multiple ML projects internally and externally within GDO. As a strategy leader you will partner closely with the team to create business reviews and OP1/OP2 documents. You will own creating and driving a GenAI Center of Excellence within GDO, as well as leveraging GenAI for driving data insights.

About the team

GDO consists of seven global sub-teams, Lead Management & Operations (LMO), Global Demand and Solution Center (GDSC, previously MRC), and Campaign Management teams each aligning with its vertical business. Horizontally, there are three functional teams supporting AI/ML, Strategy & Analytics, Engineering, Global Services across entire GDO. Our mission/goal is to improve AWS customer's cloud journey in order to generate demand throughout the buyer lifecycle, through personalized human engagement, advanced lead management technology, and best-in-class language experience. AI/ML, Strategy & Analytics develop org-level strategic planning, analytics and machine learning to equips our organization with consistent strategy, data and insights they need to build world-class marketing solutions. We drive organizational best practices for strategic planning, analytics, and machine learning as central capabilities.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 3+ years of technical product or program management experience

- 2+ years of software development experience

- 3+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience

- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 3+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $114,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $197,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
