As a Kratos Training and Development Specialist, you will play a pivotal role leading the development and delivery of comprehensive internal training programs. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of compliance and cybersecurity professionals by working vertically throughout the organization's leadership and delivery teams to envision, own, and implement a program for training success. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience serving as an assessor. Proven experience as a Training SME with a successful track record of developing and delivering training programs. Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to convey complex concepts in a clear and concise manner. Experience working across multiple compliance frameworks (FedRAMP, StateRAMP, DoD SRG, HITRUST, etc.) is highly desirable. This is a flexible opportunity for the right candidate - up to 40 hours weekly.

Responsibilities include:
- Develop a strong understanding of existing workflows and execution structures across cybersecurity service offerings.
- Design, develop, and deliver a comprehensive training program focused on team onboarding, cybersecurity service offerings, roles and responsibilities, and deliverable management.
- Create focused training for various individual roles, such as delivery manager, senior assessor, and junior assessor.
- Develop a comprehensive, step-by-step immersive training program to prepare individuals for the role of a junior assessor, senior assessor, and delivery manager.
- Assess training needs, create training materials, and conduct engaging sessions to enhance the skills and knowledge of team members.
- Collaborate with service offering management to develop role-based job aids that enable an informed, efficient workflow execution for all project delivery roles.
- Facilitate the documentation and maintenance of technical reference material to support service offering execution.
- Collaborate with management and staff on training improvement needs, current-role effectiveness and future project-role readiness.
- Lead initiatives to identify, analyze, and optimize existing processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and streamline workflows.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and monitor their impact on overall organizational performance.
- Increase standardization across service offerings, role execution, and team interaction.
- Integrate training stage gates into the service offerings approach and methodology.
- Document or update workflows and execution structures to align with training.
- Experience as a professional trainer, with a successful track record of developing and delivering training programs.
- Demonstrated experience in creating successful onboarding training programs.
- Detail-oriented with the strong ability to multi-task.
- Commitment to continuous improvement.
- Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to convey complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite Products: PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Visio, SharePoint.
