As a technical writer you will be responsible for deliverables of substantial scope and complexity including:
 Datasheets
 External Product Specifications
 Electrical Validation Reports
 Hardware Architecture Specifications
 Specification Updates
 Release Notes
 Technical Advisories
 Application Notes
What youll do as a Technical Writer:
 Prepare, review, revise, and maintain technical documents, including hardware and systems engineering, system operations, testing, and user documentation.
 Gather and analyze technical and product information from various sources to document new or changing product functionality.
 Write, format, edit, review, and proof procedural and technical information for technical and non-technical users.
 Assist in planning, scheduling, and tracking documentation work to meet product release dates and client deliverables.
 Maintain a library of application documentation, cataloging it for internal and/or external use.
 Maintain templates for written documentation produced by others (technical specifications, customer facing, etc.), ensuring a consistent "look and feel."
What skills you will use:
 Bachelor's degree with a focus on writing and communications, or at least 5 years of experience in technical writing.
 Familiarity with Ethernet link, PHY, cable, Ethernet switches, and MAC/PHY architecture is a bonus.
 Experience in creating documentation in various arenas (written, Wiki, AI, etc.) for audiences with different levels of technical skill.
 Experience with Atlassian Confluence wiki is preferred.
 Project and process management.
 Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.
 Experience with HTML is a plus.
 Experience with Adobe FrameMaker is a plus.
 Experience with Jira is a plus.
Experience within the following document preparation tools is desired:
 Microsoft office (Word, Visio, Power Point, Teams)
 FrameMaker
 Adobe Acrobat
 IPIX
 Wiki
 SharePoint
 Adobe Illustrator Shift Hours
8am-5pm
