This individual will be a full-time, integral part of the Wisconsin Woodchucks front office. You'll be a member of the Ticket Sales team, whose goal is to build relationships, market the Woodchucks experience and bring in revenue throughout the season by maintaining and renewing existing group ticket accounts, helping area organizations and businesses plan successful Woodchucks outing experiences. You'll be making calls, going on face-to-face meetings with prospects, touring clients around Athletic Park, and working prospect events.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Selling group tickets and hospitality packages.
  • Sell all other ticket packages including full and partial season plans.
  • Sell single game tickets over the phone and at the box office.
  • Work with all accounts to help them market their Woodchucks outings to their guests
  • Connect with local organizations to share the Woodchucks experience with them and get them to a game.
  • Effectively follow up with clients and prospective clients to build relationships to help provide repeat business and to meet excellent customer service requirements.
  • Proactively create opportunities for new business through up selling opportunities and referrals from existing clients.
  • Contact past customers to generate new ticket sales.
  • Assist with the management of the box office and ticket operations.
  • Network around the Wausau community to strengthen and build relationships.
  • Other duties and responsibilities deemed necessary by the club.


QUALIFICATIONS & CHARACTER TRAITS:
  • Bachelor's degree in business/sales/marketing/sports management or similar concentration.
  • Excellent relationship building and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact comfortably and effectively with internal and external clients at all levels of an organization.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and oral.
  • Extremely coachable and eager to learn every day.
  • Highly motivated individuals with a strong desire to build a career in the sports business.
  • Available to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays
