TikTok Shop's Supply Chain & Logistics is looking for an experienced Daily Carrier Operations Specialist to oversee day-to-day carrier operations, manage transportation activities, and ensure smooth and efficient freight movements across our supply chain network.

Responsibilities:
- Coordinate daily transportation activities, including carrier scheduling, freight bookings, load planning, and route optimization to ensure timely and cost-effective freight movements.
- Communicate with carriers, freight forwarders, and transportation service providers to coordinate pickup and delivery schedules, resolve issues, and track shipment statuses.
- Monitor carrier performance metrics, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and conduct performance reviews to evaluate carrier performance and compliance with service level agreements (SLAs).
- Manage transportation documentation, including bills of lading, shipping manifests, customs documentation, and regulatory compliance requirements related to carrier operations.
- Collaborate with internal teams (logistics, warehouse, procurement) to coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, manage transportation priorities, and optimize freight flows.
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of transportation data, shipment records, and inventory information in transportation management systems (TMS) or logistics software.
- Analyze transportation data, shipping trends, and operational metrics to identify opportunities for process improvements, cost savings, and optimization of carrier operations.
- Resolve transportation-related issues, delays, and discrepancies by liaising with carriers, internal teams, and stakeholders to mitigate risks and ensure smooth operations.
- Provide training, guidance, and support to internal teams on carrier operations, transportation processes, and best practices for efficient freight movements.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., TIA, CSCP) are a plus.
- Proven experience (2+ years) in carrier operations, transportation coordination, logistics operations, or related roles within the logistics and supply chain industry.
- Strong understanding of transportation modes (air, ocean, rail, trucking), freight forwarding, customs procedures, and international shipping regulations.
- Experience in coordinating daily transportation activities, managing carrier relationships, and optimizing transportation processes for efficiency.
- Proficiency in transportation management systems (TMS), logistics software, and data analytics tools for analyzing transportation data and performance metrics.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with carriers, internal teams, and stakeholders at all levels.
- Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to make data-driven decisions to improve daily carrier operations.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and adapt to changing business needs and market conditions.
