Our Shared Engineering Resources team is seeking a Tooling Engineer to provide global technical expertise supporting our Global Cost Development process. This position will include customer interfacing, tooling concepts, and quoting. Will require working with other Phillips-Medisize facilities in a courteous, timely and cost-effective manner. This could be considered a Remote position that may require limited travel to our production facilities and or tooling suppliers.
This position has the ability to be remote!

What You Will Do

* Primary support for Global Cost Development (GCD) supporting the development of tooling costing.
* Investigate and maintain knowledge of new/improved state of the art technologies.
* Grow and maintain vendor relationships and drive solutions of mutual benefit.
* Provide accurate cycle time estimates while collaborating with our Processing Team.
* Provide equipment needs/requirements for programs being quoted
* Investigate and maintain knowledge of new/improved state of the art technologies.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

* Minimum of 5 plus years of Tooling or Project Engineering in the molding industry
* Experience with design, construction, debugging and validation of injection molds.
* Experience in process development and scientific molding concepts
* Experience and knowledge of engineering project management
* Experience working directly with Solidworks/CAD/CAM and Mold Flow simulation software(s).
* Experience with customer interfacing directly

What Will Put You Ahead

* Experience in multi-shot processing and tooling preferred
* Bachelor's degree in Engineer or related field
* Experience in working within continuous improvement / six sigma methodologies.
* Excellent oral and written communication skills. Exhibit "entrepreneurial" skills, be self-motived.
* Experience in Liquid Silicone Rubber injection molding

In order to comply with U.S. export control laws and regulations, this position requires applicants to either provide proof of U.S. citizenship or lawful permanent resident status or be eligible to receive an export authorization (a license) under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations and/or the Export Administration Regulations.
For this role, we anticipate paying $85000- $115,000 per year. This role is eligible for variable pay, issued as a monetary bonus or in another form.
