An employer in the Dayton, OH area is seeking a Top Secret DevOps Engineer for a contract to hire opportunity. This individual will be responsible but not limited to the following: will be joining a new agile team of 5 to support the development team at the National Air and Space Intelligence Center at WPAFB. This group will work alongside the developers and the government customers at the base to containerize and deploy the applications to the cloud or specific platform. Will collaborate with software designers and/or software engineers in the planning, design development of the software systems. Will be required to sit on site at the base or the office 5 days a week and must hold a Top-Secret Security clearance with SCI eligibility.

Required Skills & Experience
Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or STEM field from an accredited institution
2+ years of experience in a Software Engineer/DevOps role
Experience with HTML, CSS, Jquery, Javascript or Typescript
Experience with containerization (Docker, Podman, CRI-O)
Experience with Kubernetes orchestration (Kubectl, Kustomize, Helm)
Experience with React or Angular
Experience with microservices or API definitions
Experience with DevOps Pipelines
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Master's Degree
Current SCI access
