WHAT WILL YOU DO:
This position is responsible for developing activities and resources for training.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Travel around the state of Georgia to assist in conducting state-approved, developmentally appropriate training for Pre-K teachers.
- Collaborate with trainers in workshop development.
- Assist in the development of online courses and podcasts.
- Work collaboratively with Best Practices staff to develop and implement special projects.
- Assist GSU faculty with research projects related to Best Practices and the Child Development Program
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field and three years experience in training and development, or a combination of education and related experience.
- Knowledge of Georgia's Pre-K program, Work Sampling System and developmentally appropriate practice for B-5.
- Experienced trainer in early childhood with familiarity with Bright from the Start.
- Proficient using a variety of technology including PowerPoint/Keynote for presentations
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational acumen and a proclivity for attention to the details
- Able to work on multiple projects, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines
