* Manage a wide variety and complexity of highway related projects.
* Maintain project schedules and manage project financials including profit/loss responsibility and targeted direct margin.
* Coordinate staff required for internal project teams, including directing, coordinating and reviewing work by others.
* Perform design computations, oversee report, plan and specification development and sign and seal construction documents as necessary.
* Oversee and approve invoicing/billing and manage project scope and secure change orders as necessary, chase A/R and provide internal reporting as may be required.
* Work with other senior staff within Infrastructure & Transportation and other practices groups, as necessary, to execute project delivery.

Required Skills & Experience
* Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited four-year college or university
* 3-6 years of relevant experience
* Experience with the Chicago Department of Transportation CDOT, Illinois Tollway, IDOT, or similar State DOT and/or local government agencies developing, delivering, and managing transportation design projects
* Must be self-motivated and able to work both independently and as part of project team to complete tasks
* Experienced in and fully capable of using the Microsoft software suite including Word, Excel, and Power Point
* Knowledge of virtual collaboration tools such as ProjectWise, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Teams
* Proven leadership, communication, collaboration, mentoring and client liaison skills
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
* Working knowledge of roadway design software used to prepare engineering and design documents including Open Roads and Open Roads Designer (ORD)
* Illinois Professional Engineer (PE) license
Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
