A client of Insight Global is looking for a Sr. System Administrator to sit Onsite in Annapolis Junction, MD. This Candidate will offer technical guidance and solutions for complex IT problems, perform comprehensive analysis, prepare detailed reports, and deliver presentations and solutions to the stakeholders. This Individual will provide technical support for system and applications problems. They will also be troubleshooting issues related to TomCat, MySQL, Java, Nginx and Kubernetes.

Required Skills & Experience

* Bachelor's degree with twelve (12) years of relevant experience OR Associate's degree with fifteen (15) years of relevant experience OR High School/GED with twenty (20) years of relevant experience.

* Experience with Linux System Administration

* Experience with Puppet and Yum

Experience with OpenStack and Nessus

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

* Experience with cloud development and Big Data technologies.

* Knowledge of AWS and its services.

* Experience with Python and streaming capabilities.

* Background in analytic development and compliance processes.

* Familiarity with Jira or similar project management tools.

* Strong troubleshooting skills for Tomcat, MySQL, Java applications, Nginx, and Kubernetes.
