UI Angular Tech Lead

Roles/Responsibilities

• Build reusable components and libraries for handling Frontend piece of web application.
• Work closely with UX, Design and Product to understand and build web application from scratch.
• Deliver functional and testable code with thorough unit testing to satisfy effective DevOps pipeline.
• Contribute to and enforce coding standards and also involve in code review through GIT flow process.

• Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability.
• Interact with team members from onsite and offshore Also other stakeholders on requirement gathering, coding, implementation and continuous improvements to code.
• Promote innovation, creative thinking, communication, and collaboration among team members.
• Familiar with Agile development and continuous delivery methodologies.

• Must possess organizational proficiencies to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment under limited supervision.
• Must be highly motivated, self-starting, and committed to achieving results and have a strong sense of ownership and follow-through to resolution.
• Must have strong problem solving skills .
• Experience with financial analysis and business justification.
• Ability to communicate and interact with various levels of an organization structure.

• Ability to communicate complex technical solutions and concepts to leaders and business partners.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Required Qualifications
• 10+ years Web Service design, development, and delivery experience
• 7+ years Distributed Application development
• 3+ years framework and reusable component development
• 2+ years Enterprise/Application architect experience
• 5+ years experience with software development methodologies. RUP, Agile, Waterfall
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent, Masters preferred
• Have proficient understanding of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and Typescript.
• Have worked on Angular 7 and above, developing components and consuming REST APIs.
• Have thorough knowledge on Unit testing Angular using Jasmine, Karma.
• Good to have implemented Swagger UI in REST Services for interactive UI testing.
• Expertise in End to End web development using latest progressive web frameworks.
• Hands on Experience in One of the Front End Technologies like Angular or similar Progressive Web Frameworks.

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $52,000 to $137,600 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
