Job Description:

As a Unit Manager at Canterbury Place, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations of a specific unit within our community. You will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of care is delivered to residents, while also managing staff and maintaining a positive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Resident Care:
  • Coordinate and supervise resident care plans.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory standards and best practices.
  • Monitor and address resident needs, including physical, emotional, and social well-being.
• Staff Management:
  • Recruit, hire, and train staff members.
  • Provide ongoing supervision and mentorship.
  • Evaluate staff performance and address any issues.
• Operations Management:
  • Develop and implement unit policies and procedures.
  • Manage budgets and resources effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations.
• Communication:
  • Maintain open communication with residents, families, and staff members.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations.

Qualifications:

• Registered Nurse (RN): Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of Pennsylvania.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in senior living.
• Leadership: Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassion: Genuine compassion and empathy for seniors.
