The role you'll contribute:
Assumes responsibility for developing, implementing & evaluation a program of education for department and/or unit specific clinical population(s). Programming includes initial and ongoing staff competency, standardized department-based orientation for all applicable roles, and continued education as identified by needs assessments and regulatory requirement initiatives. Applies evidence-based practice, policies, procedures, standards, and regulations as appropriate. The education will be designed to positively influence the quality and cost effectiveness of patient care and team member professional development.

- Acts as a member of the education support team for management of quality and regulatory initiatives and projects.
- Advances healthcare practice by developing and integrating policies, procedures, and standards.
- Is knowledgeable in current healthcare trends and related legislative issues.
Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed:
- Bachelor's degree in nursing
- Three years nursing experience
- Registered Nurse
- BLS certification credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA)
