Unit Secretary, Surgery Department - Fulltime Days

Fast-paced, high volume Surgery department is looking for a top skilled Unit Secretary. Is that you?

Location: Texas Health Plano is located at 6020 W Parker Rd, Plano, TX 75093

Schedule: Full-Time | 36 hrs./ wk. | 6:30am - 7:00pm | Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday with some On-call on Sundays and Holiday requirements

Here's What You Need

    • HS Diploma or Equivalent Required
    • No experience Required

What You Will Do

    • Performs all tasks to meet the needs of physicians, staff, patient, and other customers
    • Demonstrates acceptable organizational skills
    • Communicates effectively
    • Uses Professional Practice Model philosophy to work in partnership with patients, families, physicians, peers and all other disciplines
    • Demonstrates adaptability and flexibility to changes in schedule and/or workload assignment necessary to meet changing needs of the individual patient or unit
    • Makes new team members feel welcome and offers assistance with orientation of new employees
    • Complies with personnel policies i.e. Attendance, ID badge, Dress Code, et. al.
    • Maintains Unit Secretary skills
    • Adheres to National Patient Safety Goals
