Job Description

35% Administration

- Serve as the first point of contact for individuals calling HCC Development
-Process all donations that are mailed directly to HCC Collaborate with MUSC Foundation to process gifts and ensure that gift information is entered into Raisers Edge correctly
-Use Raisers Edge to input donor actions and opportunities for Director of Development and HCC events
-Manage correspondence, support documents and meetings for HCC Advisory Board
-Process invoices for vendor payments, reimbursements, and mileage
-Ensure that the central development and HCC calendars are up to date with HCC events
-Enter special event actions into Raiser’s Edge
-Coordinate travel arrangements for Major Gifts Officers
-Schedule, coordinate, and organize HCC development team meetings
-Manage office supply orders

35% Third Party Event Management

-Assess 3rd party event proposals and make recommendations to Director
-Assisting 3rd parties in the planning, implementing and directing of projects and special events
-Ensure committee understanding and adherence to the 3rd party events agreements
-Collaborate with HCC Development Communications Manager and HCC Communications on publicity for 3rd party events
-Creating and maintaining Greater Giving websites for needed events
-Attending and assisting third party events during evenings and weekends as needed
-Support the Director of Special Events with HCC Signature Events
-Recruit and manage volunteers required for our support of the Cooper River Bridge Run and Oyster --Festival, and other volunteer needs for HCC events/beneficiary events as needed

20% Stewardship
-Collaborate with HCC Development team on donor engagement and stewardship initiatives by planning and managing activities aimed at increasing support to HCC.
-Coordinate donor and faculty meetings as well as donor campus visits
-Utilize Raiser’s Edge to provide accurate and relevant reporting information for the HCC Development Team
-Produce acknowledgement letters for all HCC donations and post-event thank you letters
-Steward and cultivate HCC Signature Event Auction Donors

10% Signature Event Auction Management
-Procure high value, appropriate auction items for HCC Signature Events
-Network with HCC Board and stakeholders to secure unique and high value items
-Manage the documentation, collection and database management

A bachelor's degree andone yearrelated experience in an area such as alumni/development activities.
