Job Description Summary
The O’Neil laboratory is seeking highly motivated candidates for a post-doctoral fellowship studying tumor immunology and T cell adoptive transfer. The major interests of the lab are engineering T cells for therapeutic applications in oncology and autoimmune disease. In this position, you will have the opportunity to develop and lead projects using cutting-edge experimental models of autoimmune disease and cancer. You will also gain extensive experience and training in molecular biology, genetic engineering, immunology pre-clinical, and clinical study development.

Job Description
35% - Develop and lead projects using several cutting-edge model systems including T cell adoptive transfer, and immune competent models of malignancy. Analyze data generated from these studies and prepare manuscript drafts and present at national conferences. - (Essential)
35% - Train in flow cytometry, adoptive transfer biology, and pre-clinical development and preparation of IND enabling documents. Outcomes will lead to a publishable manuscript - (Essential)
25% - Perform immunology techniques including ELISAs, flow-based cytokine determination, cellular proliferation, and cytotoxicity assays, conduct collaborative work on multi-institutional grants. - (Essential)
5% - Perform other essential duties as requested. These will include maintain animal colonies, collaborate with DLAR to provide the best animal care, update IACUC and IBC protocols, order supplies for the laboratory. - (Essential)
