Title: Product Designer
Location: Orlando, fl or Glendale, CA or Seattle, WA (hybrid)
Duration: 12 month initial contract
Compensation: 44-48 an hour
Work Requirements: US Citizen, GC Holders or Authorized to Work in the U.S.

Skillset / Experience:
  • As a Product Designer, you will be part of the team responsible for designing products that help our guests gain the most enjoyment from their experiences
  • Beyond providing practical and useful solutions, you will craft digital experiences that connect with our guests on an emotional level, delivering designs with the quality and character expected
  • You'll approach your work from a multidisciplinary, holistic perspective - applying expertise across user experience and interface design - to define and design complete product solutions.
  • Key facets of this role include embracing ambiguity, being flexible, demonstrating design competency, and a relentless attention to detail.

  • Design original, useful and elegant digital experiences
  • Apply a broad range of capabilities (discovery & strategy, architecture, wireframing, full UX design, and validation) on digital product design from concept through execution and final implementation
  • Partner with other designers and collaborate with cross-functional teams - including product management, technology and consumer insights - to take work from ideation to reality
  • Apply your exceptional attention to detail and craft, ensuring final product development fully reflects design specifications
  • Apply rigorous design thinking as we develop products at the crossroads of the physical and digital worlds
  • Interpret, infuse and leverage our unique brands and properties to deliver on high expectations from our guests
  • Reflect our evolving design patterns in your work
  • Listen to our guests and cast and advocate for their perspectives, creating opportunities to deliver on their expectations within current and future projects
  • Support the design team as we communicate our product design recommendations to our cross-functional leadership team by delivering sketches, wireframes, design specifications, compositions, and prototypes
  • Design product experiences across web, mobile web and native apps (iOS and Android)
  • Be organized and knowledgeable on project and product details
  • Use excellent visual, communication and storytelling skills to represent the
  • product design process with stakeholders.
  • Research & discovery, interaction design, functional prototypes, polished design
  • specifications, and documentation for guest-facing and cast-facing web applications
  • Work closely with a Design Lead and dedicated Sr Product Designer to execute the
  • team's shared design vision on a set schedule
  • Discussion and alignment with product and tech partners to ensure the work is both
  • comprehensive and fits within the required technical parameters
  • Active participation in team critiques with the wider design team and leadership to ensure
  • solutions meet the highest possible quality standards
  • Presentation of design concepts and solutions to design team leadership to secure
  • required approvals


Basic Qualifications:
  • 2-3 years of industry experience operating as an end-to-end multidisciplinary product designer, possessing solid capabilities across a range of design disciplines
  • 1+ years experience working on an in-house design team
  • Experience with premium brands including e-commerce
  • A track record of working with cross-functional product development teams and engineering to ship customer-facing digital products
  • Defining and utilizing qualitative and quantitative data to inform and inspire design
  • Experience creating products from a user-first design approach
  • Capability to build interactive prototypes
  • Excellent presentation, organizational, and communication skills
  • Experience solving complex interaction design problems a big plus (e.g. enterprise or similar)
  • Mid+ level competency with Figma & FigJam
  • Experience creating detailed wireframes and design specifications
  • Knowledge of design thinking strategies (Jobs to be Done, object maps, discovery &
  • research methods, etc)
  • Eagerness & ability to learn very quickly from a veritable fire hose
  • Almost insatiable drive to elevate the experience & attention to detail


Preferred Qualifications:
  • 4-year college degree preferred
  • A portfolio of your most impactful work - portfolio presentation is expected
  • Advanced competency with Figma & FigJam
  • Industry experience solving complex interaction design problems
  • Basic design prototyping
  • Knowledge of basic graphic design principles
  • Exposure to WCAG Accessibility Standards
  • Exposure to working within design systems
  • Nice to Have
  • Some experience with designing for e-commerce
  • Experience with design research & analysis of research findings
  • Advanced prototyping skills
  • Advanced graphic design skills
  • Experience designing for WCAG Accessibility Standards
