An essential function of this position is the ability to work in person and physically report for work on site.

JOB SUMMARY:
This position is paraprofessional work, assisting a classroom teacher in providing instructions to students. This position performs a variety of tasks and carries out instructional procedures as directed by the classroom teacher; conversational knowledge of Spanish preferred; and the ability to read and write Spanish and translate written materials. This position assists the Head Start/Virginia Preschool Initiative Administrative Coordinator in planning, developing, and implementing the Virginia Preschool Initiative Program. This position performs work under the supervision of the classroom teacher. This position requires a physical and TB test prior to employment and every two years thereafter.
