As a Valet Cashier at our prestigious hotel, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service to our guests. Your primary responsibility will be handling transactions related to valet parking services efficiently and accurately. You will work closely with our valet attendants and front desk staff to ensure seamless service delivery and a positive guest experience. You will also be assisting with Valet as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service Excellence:
    • Greet guests promptly and courteously.
    • Assist guests with valet parking transactions.
    • Answer questions regarding parking fees, policies, and hotel amenities.
    • Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues or concerns promptly.
  • Cash Handling and Transactions:
    • Collect valet parking fees from guests.
    • Process payments accurately using cash registers or electronic systems.
    • Ensure all transactions are recorded and balanced at the end of each shift.
    • Issue receipts and maintain records of transactions.
  • Communication and Coordination:
    • Coordinate closely with valet attendants to manage parking spaces efficiently.
    • Communicate effectively with the front desk and other hotel departments regarding guest needs and issues.
    • Provide clear and concise information to guests regarding parking procedures and hotel services.
  • Administrative Duties:
    • Prepare daily reports and reconcile cash drawers.
    • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cashier's workstation.
    • Assist in maintaining accurate records of parking transactions and revenues.
  • Safety and Security:
    • Ensure the safety and security of guest vehicles and personal belongings left in vehicles.
    • Follow established procedures for key management and vehicle retrieval.


    This is an hourly position with a compensation of $20.06.

    • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

    • Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in hospitality or retail.

    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

    • Ability to handle cash and process transactions accurately.

    • Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

    • Basic computer skills and familiarity with electronic payment systems.

    • Availability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

    • Ability to operate manual and automatic vehicles.
