JOB SUMMARY
  • The VP of Behavioral Health leads Phoebe Putney Health System Behavioral Health service line and oversees the care provided to children, adolescents and adults with mental illness and co-occurring disorders (substance abuse, intellectual disabilities, physical disabilities, and medical illness) within the system. As a member of the clinical leadership team, the VP of Behavioral Health is responsible for working closely with the leadership team in reviewing, recommending, and implementing clinical protocols, performance objectives, productivity benchmarks, compliance measures, provider workflows and best practices for the Behavioral Health service line. The position also serves as a coach/mentor to Behavioral Health providers, giving guidance in best practices, troubleshooting, and operations issues.


Qualifications

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor's Degree in business or relevant discipline (Required)
  • MBA or other relevant advanced degree (preferred)
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
  • 10+ years of business experience working in similar healthcare services, distributed care business with responsibility for full P&L responsibility (required)
  • 5+ years of prior leadership experience (required)
  • 5+ years of behavioral health experience (required)
