Enterprise Technology & Services (ETS) delivers and manages essential and innovative technology infrastructure solutions to all global businesses and locations. ETS is responsible the architecture, engineering and operation of all core infrastructure and end user technologies as well as the Firm's Enterprise Architecture, shared application infrastructure, HR Tech, Technology Modernization and DevOps capabilities.
The Chief of Staff position reports to the ETS Chief Administration Officer and is responsible for supporting the ETS Chief Information Officer and the broader ETS Management team.
Morgan Stanley is seeking a Chief of Staff for CIO in Enterprise Technology & Services in New York.
Responsibilities:
• Lead the weekly ETS management committee including structuring agenda and ensuring priority topics are discussed at an appropriate cadence
• Manage ETS Management team executive correspondence and communications (e.g., organizational announcements, goals cascade, quarterly updates, etc.)
• Liaise with the Tech COO Communications team to develop and execute on ETS' internal and external communication strategy
• Coordinate with subject matter experts (SMEs) and key stakeholders to prepare input for senior management briefing material
• Prepare content including presentation materials and resources for the CIO's staff engagements sessions and external speaking events (e.g., open forums, industry forums, TechWeek, etc.)
• Review and approve all ETS external engagement request
• Ensure timely execution of divisional people/HR processes including promotion committees, staff reviews, and peer feedback review
• Identify key risks and potential issues proactively; manage and communicate them with situational sensitivity

• College/University degree or equivalent with a business focus and relevant/proven experience
• Excellent interpersonal skills including tact and diplomacy and excellent writing skills including the ability to tailor messaging to all levels of the organization
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, and the ability to multi-task and prioritize time accordingly
• Strong process management skills and direct experience of dealing with multiple stakeholders at one time
• High level of discretion and ability to work on confidential projects with Compliance, HR, and Legal team
• Ability to interact comfortably at the most senior levels of the organization while also being a contributor to the team
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to the changing needs of the CIO as they arise
• Strong working knowledge of MS Office including PowerPoint, One Note, and Team
• Technology, Risk / Regulatory, or Strategy background a plu

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $150,000 and $205,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
