The Role and What You will Do:

On Location is seeking an experienced Food and Beverage executive to join our team to help in the planning of amazing experiences for the FIFA World Cup 26™ V/VIP and Affiliate hospitality programs. The VP of Food & Beverage will implement and lead the food and beverage program within FIFA's 16 cities across the Americas. The VP of Food and Beverage will be the main contact to the FIFA client and team members. The ideal candidate has proven experience in large scale F&B management and is a strong leader with a mindset for team development. Candidate must have existing relationships with many of the concessionaires at the 16 stadiums where the World Cup will be held.

As a Food & Beverage VP you are responsible to support the large-scale Food & Beverage Management team in the day-to-day operation by performing certain tasks, whereby your role will include key responsibilities such as:

  • Providing visionary leadership by setting strategic goals and direction for all food and beverage operations across the FIFA World Cup 2026 venues and events, aligning with FIFA's global standards and objectives.


  • Leading and empowering a team of senior directors, managers, and coordinators responsible for food and beverage services at various stadiums and events. Mentorship and development of top talent would be crucial to maintain high performance and operational excellence.


  • Ensuring flawless execution of food and beverage services through scalable operational frameworks, standardized processes, and advanced coordination management tailored to diverse venue requirements.


  • Cultivating and maintaining strategic partnerships with global suppliers, vendors, and culinary partners to ensure top-tier quality, innovation in menu offerings, and reliable service delivery across all venues.


  • Liaise with the VVIP and Affiliate Hospitality leads for customer/client F&B specifications.


  • Spearheading innovation initiatives to enhance guest experience through pioneering culinary concepts, immersive dining experiences, and personalized service that elevate the overall fan engagement during the FIFA World Cup.


  • Upholding stringent standards for food safety, health regulations, sustainability practices, and guest satisfaction across all venues. Ensuring compliance with international standards and local regulations is essential.


  • Developing comprehensive financial strategies, managing budgets, forecasting expenditures, and optimizing financial performance through strategic procurement and revenue enhancement strategies.


  • Harnessing innovative technology solutions for enhanced operational efficiency, real-time data analytics, and guest engagement platforms to optimize service delivery and decision-making processes.


  • Implementing robust risk management protocols and contingency plans to mitigate operational risks, ensuring seamless continuity and resilience during high-profile events.


  • Collaborating closely with internal stakeholders, event organizers, sponsors, and key external partners to align strategic goals, manage relationships effectively, and deliver unparalleled hospitality experiences that elevate FIFA's global reputation.

You Have These:

  • Any combination of training, education, and experience equivalent to graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor's degree in Restaurant/Hospitality Management, Food Service Management, Sports Management, or a related field.


  • Considerable (15-20 years) full-time, progressively responsible experience in the food and beverage industry preferably including sales, catering, and concession work (example: scheduling staff and events, training employees, selecting, and ordering products, inventory control, and menu preparation).


  • Proven ability to manage large-scale events and complex programs, ideally within a sports or significant public international event context.


  • Proficient user of Microsoft Office Suite | Adobe Acrobat | Zoom | DocuSign


  • Highly organized and process-oriented


  • Attention to detail, carefully following instructions and checking work for accuracy


  • Ability to multi-task and remain calm in high-pressure situations


  • Persuasive communication, interpersonal, negotiation and conflict resolution skills


  • Good timekeeping and work ethic that is characterized by commitment, motivation, and energy

  • Prior experience with large-scale sporting events a plus


  • Flexibility and positive attitude to work long days, evenings, weekends, and holidays when necessary


Travel: Must be adaptable with work and travel schedule and be available to travel for work during holidays. This position may require up to 40-50% travel.

Hiring pay rates are based on a number of factors, including location and may vary depending on job-related qualifications, knowledge, skills and experience.
