Job Summary:
Responsible for managing technology infrastructure including cloud environments and services, any on-premises hardware, operating systems, databases, networks, telecom and other core technology such as productivity applications and collaboration tools. Also provides leadership over the IT Help Desk and Customer Service. Delivers infrastructure related technology projects providing leadership over relevant teams. Manages vendor relationships and product roadmaps to meet strategic goals of the department. Responsible for IT infrastructure operating and capital budgets.

What you will do: (Responsibilities)
- Responsible for ensuring smooth operation of enterprise-wide IT infrastructure such as servers, storage systems, desktops, laptops, mobile devices, telephony, Wi-Fi, etc.
- Support configuration, maintenance, and operations of core IT applications such as e-mail, collaboration tools, SharePoint, etc.
- Support and maintain corporate wide and local networks for the company including serving in an advisory capacity for vendor partners
- Support and maintain NBA applications and systems for basketball operations and games
- Assist Legal with discovery and litigation matters
- Lead IT Help desk function to provide IT support for company and outside events such as concerts, shows, etc.
- Provide direction and direct input on architecture and design of infrastructure related initiatives
- Partner with CITO to implement required information security controls and tools
- Lead IT infrastructure roadmap planning and management efforts
- Deploy and manage appropriate tools and controls to monitor and manage production infrastructure and systems
- Build strategic vendor and partner relationships and ensure Service Level Agreement and escalation resolutions are met
- Manage expenses and capital budgets for the department
What we need from you: (Required Skills/Abilities)
- Comprehensive knowledge of and experience with information technology infrastructure including hardware, operating systems, storage, and processing technologies
- Ability to troubleshooting networking technologies including Local Area Networks, Wide Area Networks, routers, switches, and other communications equipment
- Comfort with installing and operating IT infrastructure and networks in cloud environments such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud
- Knowledge of VMware and Cisco technologies
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent work experience
- Master's degree in computer science, MIS is a plus
- At least 8 years of experience in a senior IT leadership role overseeing enterprise infrastructure and cloud operations
- Experience running and leading IT Help Desk and support functions using ITIL standards
- Experience in strategic planning and execution
- Experience contracting, negotiating with vendors on IT procurement
- Expertise in information security technologies and best practices
- Experience with project management
- Experience with visual modelling tools
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. of equipment
