Vice President of Finance - Hybrid

Our client, a private equity owned multi-location entity, is seeking a strategic Vice President of Finance. The VP of Finance will be responsible for providing financial guidance to the executive team, overseeing financial reporting, analysis, and forecasting, leading financial strategy, and driving process improvements. The successful candidate will have a strong background in Power BI and data modeling.

Vice President of Finance Job Duties:

• Provide financial leadership and guidance to the executive team, including developing and implementing financial strategies to support business objectives
• Oversee the financial reporting process, ensuring timely and accurate financial statements, analysis, and forecasts
• Develop and implement financial models and analysis to support decision-making, including scenario planning and sensitivity analysis
• Lead the development of BI tools and data modeling capabilities
• Work with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and cost savings across the organization
• Partner with operational teams to develop and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to drive business performance
• Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting process, including developing financial models and analysis of financial data
• Provide leadership and mentorship to the finance team, including performance management, training, and development
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, company policies, and regulatory requirements
• Support acquisition due diligence and integration activities, including financial analysis and integration planning

Vice President of Finance SKILLS/Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; MBA preferred
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive accounting and finance experience, with at least 5 years of experience in a leadership role
• Strong technical accounting skills, with experience in GAAP and financial reporting
• Proven track record of developing and implementing financial strategies to support business objectives
• Strong background in Power BI and data modeling
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization
• Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment

This is a hybrid work arrangement with a mix of remote and in-person work. The VP of Finance will be expected to work from our corporate office as needed, with flexibility to work from home as appropriate.
