Salary Range: $70,000 - $115,000 / year DOE

Vice President of Sales and Marketing Requirements:
  • Bachelor s degree - MBA is a plus
  • 5-10 years of B2B sales experience, specifically selling to retailers
  • Minimum of 2-3 years in a managerial sales role
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Willingness to travel (40% travel required)
  • Strong leadership and decision-making skills
  • Highly communicative and a self-starter
  • Background in furniture or wholesale industry is preferred
  • Marketing experience is desired to help expand marketing efforts

Vice President of Sales and Marketing Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and manage customer accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and engagement
  • Supervise 20 independent sales reps (1099) and 5 internal customer service agents
  • Address and resolve escalated customer service issues
  • Facilitate the opening of new accounts and expand product selections with current clients
  • Lead and train the sales department
  • Manage and participate in trade shows, including setup and execution
  • Generate and pursue leads, including cold calling and appointment setting
  • Travel approximately 40% of the time, primarily on the East Coast, to visit customers and explore new territories
  • Support and potentially expand marketing efforts
