MISSIONS

Under the leadership of the SVP of Safety and Industrial Engineering, the Project Manager Assistant will focus on driving transit operational continuous improvement initiatives across both corporate departments and field locations. This role is ideal for an engineering-oriented individual who is passionate about optimizing processes and implementing innovative solutions in support of bus and rail opertions. The Project Manager Assistant will collaborate with various teams to identify areas for improvement, implement data-driven tools, and standardize processes. Key responsibilities include the deployment and optimization of tools that include SafeTracker, Optibus, Excel, Power Automate, Power BI, Qlik Sense or Python to analyze performance data and drive efficiencies. The successful candidate will work closely with stakeholders to ensure the successful integration of these tools, provide training, and support the continuous evaluation of process effectiveness. Key projects will focus on leveraging technology to improve reporting, operational efficiency, and decision-making.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collaborate with subject matter experts, especially to get up to speed with understanding safety management systems and project management methodologies.

• Develop and implement project management plans for new startup locations, innovative transit projects, and other targeted initiatives.

• Develop standards and processes related to operating and maintaining buses.

• Engage operations field leadership and supporting personnel to assess and understand the current state of performance across various Key Performance Indicators and determine opportunities to continuously improve.

• Administer, and support the continued rollout of the Safety reporting tool, SafeTracker, to include implementation of new features, training, inquiry support, and reporting.

• Maintain and suggest enhancements for reporting by utilizing data visualization tools such as Power BI or QlikSense.

Profile

EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED

• Engineering school or university equivalent

• Ideally, you have a background in project management

• Strong reporting and data analytic skills

• A good command of professional English is essential, ideally with initial experience abroad

• Good knowledge of office and computer tools

• Experience and knowledge of PowerBI, QlikSense, and Power Automate.

• Proficiency in Python is preferred.

• You are autonomous and resourceful

VIE Conditions

• Be at least 18 years old and have not yet celebrated your 29th birthday: you must be 28 or less at the time of your departure on assignment,
• Be of French nationality or a citizen of a European Economic Area country.
• If you are of French nationality or dual nationality, attended France's national service obligations (Numéro Identifiant Défense).
• Have a clean criminal record.
• Be able to devote 100% of your time to the assignment: no part-time work, entrepreneurship, studies, or income-generating activities are possible in parallel with your V.I.E. assignment.

• Be a graduate and able to provide proof with a document
