Ascension Texas is looking to hire a market wide Vice President of Clinical Operations to join our team!

Serving Texas for more than 120 years, Ascension operates Ascension Providence in Waco and Ascension Seton, which

includes Dell Children's Medical Center, the region's only comprehensive children's hospital and pediatric Level I trauma

center, and Dell Seton Medical Center at The University of Texas, the region's only Level I trauma center for adults.

Responsibilities

Provides strategic and tactical leadership for clinical operations across assigned areas to ensure performance metrics and quality initiatives are being met.

  • Will lead Transport team development throughout Central Texas.
  • Will be the SME for Emergency Services across the ministry.
  • Leads clinical operations to provide high quality, cost effective services. Measures effectiveness and

    takes steps to ensure continuous performance improvement.
  • Participates in broad ministry market strategy development efforts.
  • Drives awareness of the organization's services to key target audiences. Supports existing and new

    products.
  • Conducts hiring, directing, development and evaluation of staff


Complexity of Work:

  • Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal

    supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment.

  • Required Credential(s):
    • None Required.


Education:

  • Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree with 7 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience

    required, with 4 of those years being in leadership/management.

Additional Preferences

  • Master's degree with 7 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience

    required, with 4 of those years being in leadership/management.
  • Must also have a ADN/BSN Degree.
