Job Description

D&D Venture Group Inc., is hiring multiple warehouse clerk positions for their distribution center located in Richmond, CA. This distribution center services multiple stores throughout the bay area.

The Warehouse Clerk assists in the receiving, labeling, and storing incoming shipments, assessing stock for damages, keeping a concise record of inventory, and accurately filling customer orders.

A successful Warehouse Clerk is hard-working, organized and detail oriented. You should be able to keep track of incoming and outgoing stock to ensure inventory levels remain steady.

Warehouse Clerk Responsibilities:

Accurately process incoming/outgoing orders
•
Receiving, processing, labeling, and storing incoming stock
•
Inspecting all stock for damages and keeping records of damages
•
Maintaining clear records on all inventory and stock
•
Sweep, dust, and organize warehouse back stock and work area
•
Ensure all outbound merchandise is properly processed/tagged
•
Preparing orders for shipment
•
Operating stock management tools; for example, a forklift or pallet jack
•
Report any discrepancies or unresolved issues

Required knowledge, skills, and abilities:
•
Must demonstrate solid problem-solving skills
•
Prior warehouse experience a plus
•
Must be computer literate
•
Must be detail oriented
•
Must understand basic math
•
Must be able to lift 50 pounds regularly
•
Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively
•
Must have high school diploma or equivalent
