Aspirus Wausau Hospital, in Wausau, WI, is seeking a Shipping Clerk/Laboratory Supply Coordinator to join our team!

The Laboratory Supply Coordinator monitors and coordinates the flow of inventory and supplies in sufficient quantities as to meet the needs of the Laboratory and Wausau Regional Laboratory (WRL) clients. This is a fast-paced position, and great for someone who likes to move around! You will be going to multiple loading docks and storage areas within the hospital, unloading trucks, putting new stock away, packaging and shipping products to additional laboratory sites.

• Examine shipment contents and compare records, invoices, and verify accuracy.
• Pack, seal, label, and affix postage for shipping
• Record data such as weight, charges, damages, lot numbers, and discrepancies
• Contact carriers to make arrangements for shipping and delivery of materials
• Take product requests from Aspirus sites
• Check expiration dates
• Assist with unloading supplies from the shipping dock and transport to the main lab

There is little to no desk work associated with this role.

Hours: Full Time or 1.0 FTE, 80 hours every 2 weeks. Monday - Friday 7:30am to 4:00pm

Experience/Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Previous shipping and/or warehouse experience is preferred
• Possesses a valid Wisconsin Driver's License required.
• Understands the intent, importance, and function of the Aspirus/Wausau Regional Laboratory compliance plan, including knowledge of how to report suspected fraudulent activities.
