Job Description and Duties

WATER AND SEWAGE PLANT SUPERVISOR - OCOTILLO WELLS DISTRICT / OCOTILLO WELLS STATE VEHICLE RECREATION AREA

This classification is subject to the Post and Bid process. Applications from a certification list, transfer change in class, reinstatement, re-employment, and training and development assignment candidates will be accepted for this position but consistent with the MOU/Bargaining Agreement BU12/13 contract cannot be acted upon unless the Post & Bid process does not result in a hire.

The reporting location for this position is 5172 hwy 78 Borrego Springs , CA. 92004. This position will work under the supervision of the Park Maintenance Chief III.

This position has the responsibility for the operation, maintenance, and repair of water and sewage treatment plants throughout the district. The incumbent will be responsible for maintaining compliance with required permits including for themselves and for the plants.We are seeking a highly motivated, skilled, dependable and dedicated individual to become a member of our crew.

Training and Development Assignments may be considered.

This position requires a valid Class C driver's license. You must answer the questions addressing your driver's license on your application. Ensure you provide your driver's license number, class, expiration date, and any endorsements and/or restrictions on your application.

The selected candidate is required to submit to a background investigation process utilizing Live Scan fingerprinting prior to appointment.

The position(s) require(s) a Drug Screening be passed prior to appointment.

This position is designated as not telework eligible.

The incumbent's work schedule will be Monday through Friday, 7:00am to 3:30pm.

Working Conditions
