DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a motivated full-stack developer with a strong understanding of web development technologies, particularly ReactJS, C#, and .NET. The ideal candidate will also have experience with Typescript, TailwindCSS, Git, GitHub, Azure DevOps, version control, Optimizely CMS 12, working with APIs, and Yext development. As a member of our development team, you will work closely with senior developers and project managers to design, develop, test, and deploy web applications and services.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Develop high-quality, reusable code components using ReactJS, Typescript, C#, and .NET.
  • Implement responsive user interfaces using TailwindCSS that work seamlessly across various devices and browsers.
  • Utilize Azure DevOps for project management, version control, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD).
  • Integrate with and consume APIs for data retrieval and system interoperability.
  • Experience with Yext development for location data management and optimization.
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality, performance, and adherence to coding standards.
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues, and provide timely resolution to technical problems.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes and practices.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends in web development.
  • Work closely with 3rd party vendors on tasks or issues.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Seven (7) years of related experience, education/training, OR a Bachelor's degree in related area plus three years of related experience/training. Relevant experience: Web development using ReactJS, Typescript, C#, or .NET.
  • Experience and proven success in fundamentals of design and user experience, including skill to design in an appealing, lively and relevant way.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience with Azure DevOps for project management and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Knowledge of working with APIs and integrating them into web applications.
  • Familiarity with Optimizely CMS 12 or similar content management systems is a plus.
  • Experience with Yext development tools and APIs is a plus.
  • Familiarity with TailwindCSS for building user interfaces.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.

Pay Transparency Act

Annual Full Pay Range: $77,000 - $139,200 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%)

Hourly Equivalent: $36.88 - $66.67

Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for a role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The Hiring Pay Scale referenced in the job posting is the budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position. The Annual Full Pay Range may be broader than what the University anticipates to pay for this position, based on internal equity, budget, and collective bargaining agreements (when applicable).
