Job Summary
Provide quality support for the campus community with a high degree of customer service; troubleshoot and ensure customer issues are resolved in a timely manner. To process work requests and general maintenance reports for campus, including (but not limited to) requests for maintenance, signs, minor construction, moves, events, and other Facilities Management services. Responsible for the prompt handling and data entry of any timecards and paperwork turned in to the Work Order Center for processing.

Minimum Education and Experience

- High School diploma or equivalent
- 3-5 years experience in customer service in a service or call center.
-An equivalent combination of education and experience will be accepted.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Provide customer service by acting as point of contact between the University community and Facilities staff. Receive calls from campus for reports and/or questions on facilities services, such as maintenance, moves, events, and minor construction.


  • Process work requests in our work management system via requests from campus staff and faculty and project managers. Send confirmations to customers, and relay information to appropriate shops for handling.
  • Assist shop supervisors with work order review in work management system; letting them know of any errors or incomplete record keeping.
  • Other duties as assigned
