Governance and Experience is a global team responsible for ensuring our marketplace is safe and trustworthy for not only users, but also sellers and creators. We value user satisfaction and work on policies, rules and systems to ensure quality. As the Dangerous Goods Specialist, you will be part of a team consisting of policy managers, investigation ops, and program managers to drive cross-functional collaboration in the design and management of projects to ensure balance between growth and sustainability of the platform in each market.

What You'll Do
- Ensure DG products meet applicable global regulatory requirements, strategize with internal stakeholders to support business expansion, develop best-in-class standard operational processes, improve them and provide support to stakeholders during the implementation phase.
- Maintain and continually seek opportunities to improve existing processes via benchmark and best practices while interacting with a broad group of stakeholders and functions.
- Define standard operational processes applicable to US Dangerous Goods, maintain and align these operational processes across internal stakholders and XFN teams.
- Identify, analyze, develop, deploy and actively seek cross-functional coordination opportunities to improve processes, safety and customer experience.
- Explore ways to scale and increase availability of DG products through seller outreach, education, and product classification efforts.

Qualifications

What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree or higher, with at least 5 years of work experience in well-known e-commerce platforms and vertical industry experience is preferred.
- Experience in transportation of hazardous materials/dangerous goods.
- Experience with hazardous material/dangerous goods transportation regulations (e.g., 49 CFR, IATA, and IMDG), operations, and procedures
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills with proven ability to communicate clearly at all leadership levels.
- Ownership with exceptional bias for action; self-starter with the ability to work well under pressure to solve problems and meet objectives.
