Job Duties

The Department of Engineering seeks applications for an engineering laboratory technicalassistant.

The successful candidate will join a cohesive faculty group in Optical and Electrical and Electronics Engineering and will provide technical support in the following areas;management and operation of Optical Engineering laboratories; maintenance of Electrical and Electronics Engineering laboratories; and technical support to faculty in the use of technology for instructional delivery or office activities.

Minimum Qualifications

High school degree, certification or work experience to verify proficiency in the use and maintenance of electronic equipment, and proficiency in the use of Microsoft Officeapplications.

Additional Considerations

Excellent communication skill, ability to organize and catalog large database or inventory items, direct experience in the use of optoelectronic components and systems, semiconductorfabrication tools, or academic laboratory equipment.
