2025 Internship - Engineering Tools & Methods - Applications Engineer

JOB SUMMARY :

Support engineering processes and assist users in executing standard practices. Responsible or the evaluation, development and implementation of process improvements

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Utilize CATIA, ENOVIA and other software to provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to Engineering processes.
• Write or update procedural Tip Sheets
• Participate in cross functional teams to understand and gather business requirements for new or updated processes
• Supports the communication of priority for process improvements.
• Assist with the transformation of business requirements into IT requirements.
• Assists in development plans which incorporated features and functions into future systems by analyzing requirements to increase user productivity and personal understanding of the overall system.

EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE :

Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Product Lifecycle Management, or other relative field.

QUALIFICATIONS :

• Strong sense of accountability and integrity
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Time management skills to support multiple concurrent projects
• Ability to deal with change and work in a dynamic environment

Applicants must be authorized to work lawfully in the U.S. for Textron Aviation at the time of making application, and visa sponsorship is not available for this position, including for F-1 students and J-1 exchange visitors who will need employment sponsorship.

Summer internships are 40 hours per week typically from late-May to early-August lasting 10 weeks.

Candidates must be able to work onsite for the entirety of the internship program unless approved otherwise by the hiring manager.
