Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop a strong understanding of Next Generation Sequencing and bioinformatics to effectively address client needs.
  • Collaborate with lab and bioinformatics teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Conduct prospecting and research to identify new leads and potential collaborations.
  • Partner with marketing and sales teams to refine messaging and inbound lead strategies.
  • Manage and nurture inbound leads through the sales process.
  • Oversee the sales cycle from initial contact to final contract, including email outreach, sales calls, software demos, technical inquiries, proposal/quote preparation, and post-sale support.
  • Provide expert consultation to tailor solutions to each client's unique requirements.
  • Generate new business opportunities and manage existing client accounts.
  • Utilize CRM and sales automation tools to streamline processes.
  • Meet and exceed quarterly and annual sales targets.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in KPI-driven sales.
  • Strong customer service skills and a track record of successful client interactions.
  • A university degree in Life Sciences or relevant experience in multi-omics, genomics, next-generation sequencing, or microbiome sectors.
  • Ability to rapidly acquire and apply new information.
  • Exceptional verbal communication skills and a proven ability to build rapport and close deals.
