Summary: Building the perfect plan to attract high-performing, loyal employees is hard. That's where you come in as part of the NFP Employee Benefits Account Management team. You'll bring our clients the right people, technology, experience and insights to take the headache out of benefits administration.

Responsibilities:
  • On a granular level, you will prepare applications, proposals, and correspondence with both clients and carriers, process endorsements, perform binder billing, assist claims department, issue certificates, and prepare allocation and broking submissions. On occasion, you may work on special projects that bring exceptional service to clients.
  • On a holistic level, you will form trusted partnerships with clients that inspire absolute confidence in our solutions, and in our ability to enhance their prosperity
  • Prepare, review and analyze request for proposals to applicable insurance carriers
  • Review contracts, benefit plan summaries, and carrier source documents
  • Answer questions from clients and/or insurance company personnel
  • Negotiate with carriers and recommend renewals
  • Create benefits guides and education resources
  • Conduct annual client compliance audits using NFP portal
  • Create monthly, quarterly and annual reports for client review
    Qualifications:
    • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
    • 3+ years of experience in benefits administration, Healthcare Reform, and carrier products and services
    • Ability to quickly learn business model and value proposition
    • Must obtain and maintain appropriate licenses
